The Private Equity Hall of Fame is intended to be a perpetual institution that honors individuals and organizations who have made exemplary and enduring contributions to the Private Equity Community. It draws attention to both prominent and previously unacknowledged contributors to the venture capital, buyout, mezzanine and other private equity endeavors.
Individual investment successes or early industry participation alone do not qualify an individual or organization for induction into The Hall of Fame. Considerations also include the creation, expansion, or reinvigoration of private companies; the innovation of constructive approaches to private business finance; the advancement of a robust Private Equity profession, and the encouragement of high ethical standards.
A selection Committee chooses additional candidates for The Private Equity Hall of Fame annually. The Committee, organized by the editors of Private Equity Analyst newsletter, welcomes and encourages nominations from members of the Private Equity Community.
