Alex Frick joined HarbourVest's London-based subsidiary in 2007. From 2007 to 2010, Alex concentrated on secondary investments, primarily in Europe. In 2010 he changed his focus to European direct growth and buyout investments.
He joined the Firm from Novator Partners in London, where he was an associate focused on private equity investments in Europe. His prior experience includes a position as an analyst in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley in London, where he worked in the Merger and Acquisitions Group and the Financial Institutions team. Alex also completed internships in Morgan Stanley's London and Frankfurt offices, as well as SISU Capital in London, and Intersec Securities in Caracas, Venezuela.
Alex received a BSc (with honors) from City University in London in 2003 and an MSc (with merits) from the London School of Economics in 2004. He speaks Spanish, German, and Italian.
