Kim Schawbel joined HarbourVest’s administrative operations team in 2019. She is responsible for leading cross functional operational deliverables related to new structures for commingled funds, custom accounts, investments and operating affiliates from initial set-up through ongoing maintenance. Kim joined the firm from State Street Global Advisors where she was managing director in Global Funds Management, responsible for managing teams providing fund distribution and service provider/vendor oversight of SSGA’s registered funds and commingled products. Prior to State Street Global Advisors, Kim was a vice president of Marketing at Wellington Management where she led Wellington’s global offshore fund marketing program and global team. Prior to Wellington, Kim held a variety of client management and operational roles at Fidelity Investments in Boston and London.

Kim received a BA in Management from Clark University and an MBA from Bentley University.
