About Matthew

Matt Marotta joined HarbourVest in 2016 and rejoined the primary team in 2021 after completing his MBA.

Matt focuses on US venture, growth, buyout and credit investments, including the evaluation, due diligence and monitoring of partnerships. Matt joined HarbourVest from Cambridge Associates, a global investment consulting firm, where he was a Senior Associate responsible for conducting due diligence on alternative investment opportunities and advising endowments, foundations and family offices in the U.S. and Europe.

Matt received a BA (cum laude) in Government with a secondary in Romance Languages & Literatures from Harvard College in 2014, and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2021.
