About Michelle

Michelle Chua joined HarbourVest in 2022 as the Head of Asia Pacific Human Resources, leading the full complement of human capital solutions for the region. Prior to joining the Firm, Michelle was a Regional HR Lead for Citibank NA, covering 16 countries in APAC. Her prior experience also includes being the APAC HR Lead for a US distressed debt PE firm, a European assessment management company, and a Global HR Lead for GIC (the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Singapore). Prior to her career in Financial Services, she was with the Singapore Civil Service.

Michelle received a Master of Business and Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Southern Illinois University, where she was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Michelle is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
