Assistant Accounting Manager



Job Description

The Assistant Accounting Manager is responsible for Annual, Semi-Annual, and Quarterly Reporting including reviewing the financial schedules and work papers prepared by fund accountants as well as preparing analysis for reporting. The Assistant Accounting Manager will assist with daily and monthly activities related to various HarbourVest funds. He/she will prepare and assist the Accounting Manager with the interest calculation for fund closings; compiling and analyzing legal documents related to the closing.

Additional required skills include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Great Plains General Ledger.


BS in Accounting or Finance, CPA or equivalent


5-10 years accounting experience
