Associate, Real Assets

Job Description

The responsibilities of the Associate, Real Assets will include evaluating and transacting on Real Assets investment opportunities predominantly in the Infrastructure market. The Associate will gain exposure to all types of transactions including direct co-investments; secondary purchases of limited partnership interests in private equity funds; secondary direct transactions involving the purchase of portfolios of direct company interests; and strategic primary fund investments. He/she will spend the majority of time evaluating companies within the Infrastructure segment, but will also be involved with investments in Energy, Natural Resources, and other Real Asset sectors. Principal functions of the position include investment analysis, due diligence, investment recommendation and negotiation, coordination of legal documentation and the closing process, and investment monitoring. Given the small nature of individual deal teams, the Associate will play an integral role in determining price and communicating both inside and outside the firm.

Additional requirements for applicants must include top of your class ranking and strong academic background (both undergraduate school and GPA) with exceptional quantitative and modelling skills; an extremely high level of maturity and the ability to multi-task with little supervision; and superb written and oral communication skills for presenting an investment thesis to a group.

2-3 years of top-tier investment banking, private equity, or consulting experience with a focus on the Infrastructure segment of the Real Assets sector
