Business Process Engineer



Job Description

The Business Process Engineer is responsible for managing the planning, execution, and implementation of Lean Six Sigma and Process Excellence programs and projects as part of the HarbourVest Transformation Program Office. The Business Process Engineer will be responsible for driving the full lifecycle of project delivery, including Information Technology solutions, from defining the charter and VOC/CTQs, building out detailed current state/future state process requirements, and solution design through implementation and roll out. He/she will work with a cross functional team of business, operations, and technical resources. The Business Process Engineer will be accountable for ensuring the success of the project and will work closely with the executive sponsor and key stakeholders of the project to ensure objectives and outcomes are delivered as expected.

Additional skills:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
  • PMI Certification
  • ADKAR Change Management preferred


BS/BA or equivalent


5+ years in Lean Six Sigma program/project execution; IT project planning and management experience; Financial services industry experience preferred
