Client Service Analyst



Job Description

The Client Service Analyst will work closely with Account Managers and across HarbourVest functional teams to complete daily inquiries from clients across all types of funds and accounts. This role will serve clients in Latin American and North America, candidate must be fluent in Spanish and English.

HarbourVest’s clients are primarily institutions including public and private pensions, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and health service organizations. The Client Service Analyst role will evolve over time as the newly established Client Service team develops. This position offers an opportunity to develop a strong understanding of all aspects of the client journey within private markets asset management including onboarding, capital calls, distributions, reporting, and portfolio reviews. The Client Service Analyst will work closely with specialist teams across the firm including investment, solutions, accounting, treasury, tax, legal, compliance, and marketing. Along with Account Managers, the Client Service Associate will be the face of HarbourVest to clients and will be required to demonstrate strong relationship building and client management skills. Successful candidates should have demonstrated experience in client facing, relationship management, communication, analytical and problem solving, and prioritization.


BS/BA or equivalent


1+ years Client Service or Operations experience. Investment management, financial services, or private equity experience preferred. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
