Client Service Associate, APAC Coordinator

HarbourVest is seeking a Client Service Associate to join our newly established Client Service Organization. This role will work closely with Account Managers and across HarbourVest functional teams to complete daily inquiries from different clients across all types of funds and accounts. As the APAC Coordinator, this role will be the main service contact for colleagues in our four APAC offices and is expected to work on an accommodating time schedule.

HarbourVest’s clients are primarily institutions including public and private pensions, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and health service organizations. This role will evolve over time as the Client Service team develops. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop a strong understanding of all aspects of the client journey within private markets asset management including onboarding, capital calls, distributions, reporting, and portfolio reviews. This also includes working closely with specialist teams across the firm including investment, solutions, accounting, treasury, tax, legal, compliance, and marketing. Along with Account Managers, the Client Service Associate will be the face of HarbourVest to clients and will be required to demonstrate strong relationship building and client management skills.

Additional skills should include client facing experience, relationship management experience, strong communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and prioritization skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong academic credentials

Experience

3-5 years of Client Service or Operations experience. Investment management, financial services, or private equity experience preferred.
