Job Description

The Manager, Corporate Communications will be a member of the marketing and investor relations group . This team manages marketing and communications activities for HarbourVest’s private market products and solutions. The principle function of this job is to participate in the development and implementation of firm-wide communications programs targeting a broad base of key audiences for HarbourVest including existing and potential investors, consultants, media, general partners, executives of potential company investments, potential co-investment partners, secondary sellers, intermediaries in the secondary market, existing employees, and potential employees. Responsibilities include internal and external communications, public relations, and events.

Additional skills required include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google Analytics, web site content management, writing, editing, and proof reading, working with designers, conference coordination, and event planning.

 

Education

BS/BA or equivalent

Experience

8-10 years experience in marketing with specific experience in corporate communications including internal communications, media relations, and events. Experience showing increasing levels of responsibility and leadership. Asset management, financial services, or private equity experience preferred. B2B experience required.
