Manager, IT Operations
As a key member of the Global Infrastructure Operations Team, the Manager, IT Operations should be a proven and hands on IT leader who will have responsibility for overseeing the deskside support team for HarbourVest’s global offices. Helping to define and author standards, procedures, and a knowledge base will be an important aspect of this role. The Manager, IT Operations will work directly with the Vice President of Global Infrastructure & Security to provide first class service to our internal customers by planning and delivering on tactical and strategic technology projects and changes. He/she will be responsible for desktop hardware lifecycle, asset management, desktop packaging and patching, unified communications administration, SOC 1 coordination, meeting SLAs, and providing key performance data, among other key functions. Infrastructure Engineering support escalations will be triaged and managed appropriately by the Manager. In addition to managing the team, candidates should anticipate providing hands on support when short-staffed. HarbourVest is seeking a strong technologist for this role with prior experience managing a team and prior leadership experience.
Additional skills required include strong technical background, organizational skills, experience with SOC1 Audit, and Service Desk Management experience.
