Senior Database & Systems Administrator
The Senior Database & Systems Administrator, under the guidance of the IT Systems & Infrastructure Manager, will provide full design, planning, configuration, documentation, deployment, and top-level support of the firm’s SQL Server infrastructure. This will include technical direction for database design and integrity, maintenance and administration, standards, procedures and conventions for database use, database security, indexing methods, and security procedures. He/she will also provide server application support and will act as primary point person on some systems implementations. The Senior Database & Systems Administrator will research, test, and recommend new server software products that may improve operational efficiencies across the enterprise and will work closely with both the infrastructure and development teams to bridge any technical gaps. Evening and weekend hours may be required for scheduled system maintenance and upgrades.
Additional skills required include SQL DBA, Windows 2008 and 2012, Server Software, and SQL Server.
