LONDON – November 25, 2017 – HarbourVest Partners has been recognized as Private Equity Manager of the Year at the Professional Pensions Investment Awards (PPIA). Now in its fourth year, the PPIA celebrates excellence among asset managers who serve occupational pension schemes in the UK.

The award recognizes firms with consistent performance and relative growth in assets under management over the past 12 months, in addition to strong performance over a three-year time period.

The awards shortlist was drawn up in association with leading investment consultancy Aon Hewitt and based on both performance and relative growth in assets under management over the 12 months to 30 June 2017. Recognizing the need for consistent performance, entrants had to demonstrate both excellent performance over the past 12 months and strong performance over a three-year time period. Winners in each category were decided by a distinguished panel of industry judges and announced at an awards lunch on November 24, 2017 at the Jumeriah Carlton Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge, London.
