BOSTON – November 30, 2017 – HarbourVest Principals, Amanda Outerbridge and McComma Grayson, were recently honored by the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC), each receiving the organization’s prestigious 2017 Rising Stars Award.

The annual award recognizes high-performing managers early in their career that demonstrate the ability to achieve long-term success.  Award recipients are nominated by fellow industry professionals and identified as representing the next generation of industry leaders.

Both Outerbridge and Grayson were presented the honor during the NAIC Annual Private Equity & Hedge Fund Conference held in October in Washington, DC.

The nominations are collected by the National Association of Investment Companies (“NAIC”) executive staff. First, the staff discuss the nominations and select individuals who have met the criteria and are eligible. Individuals who have had a significant impact on the financial services industry inside and/or outside of their firm move on to the next stage of the selection process. A list is then compiled for review, discussion and final selection by the board of directors. HarbourVest is not affiliated with the NAIC.
