Abigail Rayner

Abigail Rayner leads our global Evergreen Investment Specialist team which is focused on the growth of our private markets’ evergreen solutions including comingled funds and separate accounts, targeted at institutional investors and private wealth. Abigail works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify areas of unmet demand and deliver evergreen solutions that capture this unfulfilled need. Abigail joined HarbourVest in 2018 as our senior infrastructure and real assets product specialist.

Abigail has a background in private markets investing and investor relations. She joined the Firm from Octopus Group in London, a mid-market manager, where she led an investor relations team and was responsible for fundraising. Prior to that, Abigail was with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in Toronto and London where she invested globally in both private equity (secondaries, direct co-investments and primaries) and direct infrastructure.

Abigail received an HBA (Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration) from Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario in 2008 and an MBA from the London Business School in 2014.
