About Amish
Amish Popat joined HarbourVest in 2022 with a focus on development and oversight of the Firm’s semi-liquid offering for both private clients and institutional investors.
Prior to joining the Firm, Amish was the EMEA chief operating officer at BlackRock’s Alternative Solutions Group. Amish has over 20 years of experience in finance and operations. He has worked for asset managers of various sizes and is experienced with a broad array of asset classes. Throughout his career, Amish has worked on numerous fund launches, has ensured the operational robustness of investment management businesses, and has been involved in many unique transactions.
Amish received an ACMA from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a BA (Hons) in Accounts and Finance from Kingston University Business School.
