About Jay
Jay Brasseur joined HarbourVest in 2017 and is responsible for all operational aspects of the Firm’s separate account business and client onboarding functions. He brings nearly 20 years of financial services, technology, and project management experience to this role.
Jay joined the Firm from BlackRock, where he was director of implementations for their FutureAdvisor platform, a digital investment manager registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In this role, he was focused on providing financial advice and portfolio management solutions to clients. Prior to that, he held various roles at BlackRock, including head of product technology and head of project management for the US & Canada Defined Contribution team. His previous experience includes managing clients and products for firms across the financial services sector, including banking, investment management, investment advisory, and high net worth.
Jay received a BA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Washington.
