About Matthew
Matthew Dowgert joined HarbourVest in 2017 and focuses on fund formation, corporate governance, and general legal support for business and operational matters.
Prior to joining the Firm, Matt spent over five years at Cambridge Associates where he was most recently a managing director and assistant general counsel focusing on transactional, regulatory, and operational matters. His prior experience includes positions at Gottex Fund Management and Ropes & Gray LLP.
Matt received a BA (cum laude) in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross in 2000 and a JD from New York University School of Law in 2003.
