Tyler Smith joined HarbourVest in 2017 and focuses on sourcing, reviewing, executing, and monitoring direct co-investments.

Tyler joined the Firm from Eaton Vance, where he spent time in the Boston and London offices and was most recently a senior equity research associate focusing on the oil & gas and utilities sectors.

Tyler received a BBA (summa cum laude) in Finance from the University of Notre Dame in 2013. He is conversational in Spanish. In 2017, he received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
